bullet Classical Development Model

At GeoTech we follow a classic methodical approach for fixed budget projects where the specification is tight and does not alter often. Our development process for such projects is divided into the following functional stages:

Classic Model

  1. Kick-off Meeting – A meeting at the beginning of the project or at the beginning of a major phase of the project helps to align peoples' understanding of the project objectives, procedures and plans, and to begin the team-building process.
  2. Software Requirement Study (SRS) preparation - During the strategy phase, project requirements, a detailed plan, architectural infrastructure and project structure is established.
  3. Project Plan and Approval - The purpose of the design phase of the project is to develop a system design based upon an understanding of user needs. The design is required prior to initiating actual configuration work with the software.
  4. Application Development - GEOTECH thoroughly reviews with you the configured applications and reports through testing procedure.
  5. Testing - The major objectives of this phase are to verify the system readiness against business features and performance requirements and to ensure system readiness from the business sponsor(s) before the software rollout.
  6. Deployment - The system is placed in production and is monitored for functionality and performance.
  7. Technical Support – We provide troubleshooting and training, if necessary, to educate the application end users.
  8. Maintenance – As software systems grow in size and complexity, their maintenance and evolution requires the combined efforts of experts. We take care of such corrective and adaptive maintenance entirely.
